Rotax unveiled the anticipated 916 engine at Sun ‘n Fun along with CubCrafters’ announcement that it has built a new model, the Carbon Cub UL, around the engine. With 160 HP (maximum) and 137 HP (maximum continuous), the 916 is an iterative update of the popular turbocharged 915 and is expected to eventually replace it.
